One of the pillars of Enprom is the continuous investment in R & D, the result of which has created a patented innovative worldwide solution, the Smart Wheel; a solvent application system by motorized roller that achieves a homogeneous and clean welding avoiding the opening of the sleeve when the heat is applied.
After a thorough study of traditional seaming systems, different points were analyzed to determine how this process could be innovated. As a result of this, Smart Wheel was developed in order to improve and add value to the labeling market by reducing costs and waste, as well as improving the quality of the seaming from the first meter.
Unlike the traditional systems on the market, the motorized roller solvent application system, Smart Wheel, is fully motorized and powered by a Siemens servomotor, ensuring the same volumetric application of solvent, control and synchronization at machine speed.
Thanks to the innovative Enprom system, the application is made at the edge of the material, without leaving a tab, which guarantees a clean and constant welding without blockage in the rewinding of material and therefore, waste and costs are reduced.
In addition to the system, being the most important part of the solution, the Enprom sleeve seaming machine, eRS, also features excellent tension controlthrough dancer roller and speed through servomotors.
The Enprom eRS solution is driven by 4 servomotors and has 2 independent tension controls both in the unwinder and in the rewinder to avoid errors and alterations in the width of the labels.
Enprom’s innovative solution also makes it possible to completely avoid subsequent inspection processes thanks to the feasible UV lamp and detector to inspect the welding of the sleeve with automatic stop of the machine in the case of lack of solvent and the control of the sleeve width through the ultrasonic sensor integrated in the main screen that will measure the width of the sleeve and will stop automatically in case there is an error or variation in the width of the same.
It has independent solvent tanks with level control and automatic warning to avoid low levels in its application. In order to guarantee a good seaming, Enprol® is available with different compositions according to its application and materials.
To make the process even more productive, Enprom also offers a more productive and sustainable solution by adding an automatic turret to the rewinder or unwinder (eRST) or in both (eRS2T), with a speed of change of 500mpm without reducing the work speed.
All Enprom machines include the possibility of adding industry 4.0 through Siemens software, promoting efficiency, improving traceability and process optimization, quality management and control over the final maintenance of the machine.
